Being all a-twitter on theatre, a tweet for what though?

Bell Shakespeare’s 20th anniversary production of King Lear (in conjunction with the Queensland Theatre Company) was at QPAC in May 2010.  I really enjoyed myself and looking forward to watch more of the bard’s works.  I even downloaded those Shakespeare iPhone apps so that I can read the plays – that Goneril line was one of my fave.

This was one of the plays that we had to read during high school so I already had an idea of the storyline, was chatting to a friend who had to really concentrate during it.

The live tweets during the play:

After the play:

As a side note: I was on the last row.

Heaps to think about social media, events, etc.  I’m used to live tweeting during professional development events where it is content and information rich but other types of events like plays, concerts, etc are different in that it is all about one’s emotions and experiences of it.  My first observation was Riverfire.

Hmm.

– I can’t comment.  I think that it is beyond tools but a reflection of changing audience behavior and consumer consumption ie the behavior of sharing, the rise of collaborative consumption, of social networks and Gen Y.
