It has been so long since I saw a performance at the QPAC Concert Hall (the Mary Robinson lecture was different) – actually I remember my last one which was more than a few years ago when I decided to visit Brisbane and to randomly go to any show in QPAC – whichever one was playing at that particular time and day!
She is multilingual and have travelled globally and has a very genuine interest in being able to visit various countries and cultures. I also recognised Mariza from the 2004 Athens Olympic Games when she sang a duet with Sting
I came out of the concert learning more than a few Portuguese words and experiencing fado for the first time.
